Simple Last Minute Date Nights

This past month Kelsey and I have been trying to soak in every last second as just the two of us. We feel we are ready to become parents and have had a good 3 years just the two of us, but we know we won't get this time we have had back for a LONG time. Anyways we decided to do all the things we love doing most together. Which to be honest are very simple things. That is how we are. Doing new and different things is fun sometimes but if we had to choose, we would probably do one of like 5 things every single Friday night haha. So this past month we have gone to dinner (of course to our old favorite stand-by's haha), watch some Redbox movies, went and got dessert, and taken our sweet little pups on countless walks. Plus I am trying to walk this baby out of me so the walks don't hurt either:) It has been such a nice month as we have refocused on each other. I love this husband of mine more than I ever thought I could & I am sure my love for him will grow by leaps and bounds as I watch him become a dad! We are so excited to start having a cute little third wheel on all our simple Friday night date nights:)

In other news, my mom, Crystal, Chrysty, and I went on our annual trip to the Puyallup fair last week and it was so much fun! I am glad this little guy stayed in long enough for me to go but now that it's over, he can come!

Final Thoughts on Pregnancy

Well I had my 38 week appointment today and my doctor said it could literally be anytime now so I figured I would do one last post on my pregnancy just in case:) I can't believe we are at the end of this pregnancy and are about to become parents. I have been literally been day dreaming about this moment for over 2 years now and I can't believe it's finally about to happen. I remember the day I found out I was pregnant back in January and not feeling super hopeful I would actually stay pregnant since this was my fourth time getting pregnant. The doctor just wanted to "try" something out and see if it worked so that didn't really have my hopes up either. However day after day after praying constantly I would finally keep this baby, it seemed more hopeful that I actually would. I feel so incredibly blessed for modern medicine and for an excellent doctor that was able to find out what was going on with me.

After all that we went through to become parents, Kelsey and I have both gained very strong testimonies in the will of the Lord. I truly believe that everything happens for a reason and that it is all part of His plan. He knows each and every one of us and even when it feels as though we have been forgotten and left alone, we are not! As grateful as I am for my little boy to get here, I will never forget my 3 other spirit children who have already passed on. They will always be a part of both Kelsey and I and will be watching over the rest of their family. I can't wait for our little guy to get here and wrap up around his little fingers!

Bella & Emma's Birthday!

I think it is so fun that Kirby & Tucker's birthdays are so close together and Bella & Emma's birthdays are so close together too. It makes it more fun to celebrate their birthdays. On Bella's actual birthday this year which is the 2nd we had planned to do something but Kelsey's car decided to break down. I know perfect timing right?!? We were busy trying to figure it out all day and so we never got to it. Yesterday we finally got around to their birthday celebration. They all got to come to the birthday party which consisted of some play time and an extra special dinner. They had Cornish Hens and stuffing. Let me tell ya, Bella normally eats fast but the girl ate her whole meal in about 20 seconds. It was fun to watch and they were all one happy puppies! Happy birthday my loves!
