We have been out of school since Wednesday and it has been just a great break so far! We are always busy doing something and so it has been just great to be home together and spend time together. I feel so blessed especially this time of year, and we have so many things to be grateful.
I am so grateful for the gospel and all that it brings into our lives. I am grateful for my Savior and the atonement. I love my family and I am so grateful that I have them and they love and care for me so much. I am especially grateful for Kelsey and all that he does for me! I don't know what my life would be like without him.
With that being said, this year even though it was our second thanksgiving together, it was my first time cooking a thanksgiving meal for us so I decided to go all out! I cooked for several hours on Wednesday and then all morning Thursday. It was a lot of work but it was so worth it and I really enjoyed it! We watched the Macy's day parade all morning and it reminded me of my childhood! I loved it. Here is some pictures of our thanksgiving feast and turkey day

Today we decided to brave out into black Friday and it actually wasn't bad at all! It wasn't overly crowded and we got everything we needed with good sales! Here is us out!
Then we came home and officially got in the Christmas spirit! We have a Christmas tree this year thanks to my mom:)

We finally got it done:)
We just have three more weeks until we get to go home and spend the holidays with the family! That means there is only 3 more weeks left in the semester! We can make it through the last part of the semester! I hope everyone had a happy Thanksgiving!
Your dinner looks so yummy!! Glad you had a great Thanksgiving and started some fun traditions of your own. That's what it's all about...figuring out what makes the holidays special for your own little family!
