Kelsey and I both love to camp but with being in school the first two summers we were married, we never seemed to make it out camping anywhere. So this summer we decided we were doing it and going camping for sure. Let's face it though, unless your going camping in a trailer, it's not the smartest idea to go tent camping before July in case of rain. So we had our plans set for August and were so excited. Then when we found out I was pregnant I thought I might not want to go almost 8 months pregnant so we decided to cancel. Anyways last night we had our own little camp out in our living room. It was so much fun even though we didn't go anywhere!
Kirby and Bella were both a little unsure of the tent and it took is half the night just to get them to come inside! But once they did, they loved it and seemed a little mad when we put it away. We did all your normal camping stuff, except a fire haha. We enjoyed the night and it was nice to have a night unplugged from electronics.
We ended the night with some really yummy s'mores ice cream. We were planning to sleepi in the tent but we got "rained out" aka I was uncomfortable so we just went to bed haha. I can't wait to go real camping next summer with our pups and sweet baby boy! We also enjoyed our fake camping so much that it might have to become a tradition!
