It was also my mom's birthday that weekend and so there was much shopping that needed to be done. Especially since she just lost a bunch of weight which by the way... SHE LOOKS AWESOME!!! Luckily our hotel, which was very nice, was right next to the outdoor mall that I love. When we weren't doing things for Jake's wedding, we spent most of our time there. It was so nice to be able to spend quality time together laughing and talking. I am so excited to be able to do that again in 2 weeks.
Jake's wedding was awesome of course. We were sad we missed the reception but very glad to see the sealing which was very beautiful.
We were also able to do some temple square site seeing because my dad has never been to Utah before. It is so amazing the peace that those grounds have even though it is surrounded by a busy world. As soon as you step foot on the grounds you can immediately feel the spirit.
