All of our friends were going to be out of town for the 4th so we decided to do our own thing. We have never been here this time of year so we decided to figure things out as we went and try new things. In the morning we went to the Rexburg parade. It was pretty fun except we were sitting directly in the sun for two hours, as a result we both got sunburnt pretty bad!
Who's do you think is worse? You should see my neck, it was a lot worse than my arm... Ouch!
Anyways, we went home for a couple of hours and decided to go over to Idaho Falls because we heard there was a big fair going on. Well lets just say that it wasn't exactly what we expected. We still had fun though and it was a good time to just spend the day together. It seems like we never get enough time together. We stayed to watch the fireworks.. which were an hour late and I almost fell asleep haha. They were really good and reminded me of fireworks from back home! I am lame and didn't get a firework picture but oh well.
The rest of the weekend we have just been trying to get ahead in homework and start getting ready for our move back to Washington in 2.5 weeks! I am going to get really busy this coming week getting things ready and even more busy once my parents get here. So, the farther ahead I get the better. We spent our whole afternoon today on the hunt for boxes. Not as easy as you would think. We spent about 4 hours looking for some and at one of our last stops we finally hit the jackpot and found a BUTT load. Thank goodness for the color run this morning. We could have gone dumpster diving for them but A- Rexburg doesn't recycle and B- we almost got arrested for putting things in the D.I. bin two years ago so we didn't want to risk it.
56 boxes later, mission accomplished!
Well there are only 16 days 20 hours and 26 mins till graduation. I couldn't be more excited to be done with school! Our days in Rexburg are getting numbered and I am very excited to move but I am also a little more sad to leave than I thought I would be. This has become my home away from home and I am going to miss little Rexburg. BUT, the sooner I leave, the sooner I get home to my little baby Kirby.
